  TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS

1.  The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason, to limit the number of entries for any event and to alter or modify the programme in any way it sees fit.  Its decision on all matters shall be final.

2.  Entries on the official form, or photocopies thereof, telephone contact or e-mail (An acknowledgment will be returned) should reach the Tournament Secretary no later than FRIDAY, 27^th APRIL, 2007 . Cheques and POs should be made payable to BADMINTON SHEFFIELD .

3.  Competitors must be prepared to play at the times stated for the commencement of each event. 

     Any competitor not ready to play when called upon will be liable to be scratched.

     Competitors must report to the Referee immediately upon arrival, before changing, and must not leave the hall without the Referee’s permission until eliminated from all events.

     Play shall not take place on days other than those sanctioned and no competitor shall be obliged to commence a match before 10am or after 11.00 pm on any such day.  Any competitor who is not prepared to play outside these times shall be entitled to a refund of their entry fee.

4.  Events will be played in pools, followed by Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final dependent upon entries.

5.  The winners and runners-up in each event shall receive prize money and a trophy.

  Saturday, 12^th May 2007

  Men’s Doubles – 10am start

Sunday, 13^th May 2006

  Ladies Doubles – 10am start

Mixed Doubles – * Approx 2pm *

(* Time for Mixed Doubles will be confirmed to entrants before the start of the event *)

Light Refreshments Tea, Coffee, Sports drinks, fruit etc will be available.
